RESISTANCE TO SETTLEMENT
As the maintenance of thickness is essential to thermal performance, Isonat has been deisgned to resist settlement. This allows multiple layers to be used without a loss in thickness. Unlike Isonat, low density mineral fibre products do not support the weight of additional layers without a significant reduction in overall thickness, thereby compromising thermal performance. Isonat is also extremely effective at resisting creeping settlement over time - unlike mineral fibres, natural fibres are tough and do not fracture or crumble.
HEAT CAPACITY
The heat capacity of Isonat is approximately double that of equivalent mineral fibre products – helping to enhance thermal comfort by reducing overheating in summer and by damping internal temperature fluctuations.
